So, I went on the challenge course with my residents today. Pulled some real life mulan climbing skills and jumped off. I’m glad I decided to come. You don’t get to do a lot of things like this if you don’t take the initiative to do so.

I played wall ball with one of the SPCN alumni’s son today. He called it handball, but I guess it doesn’t really matter. He’d hit it, then I’d hit it, and then he’d run after it if the ball went out of our playing area. Our conversation went like this.
Boy: So do you play this a lot?
Me: Not as much as I used to.
Boy: Well why don’t you play it anymore? It’s fun!
Me: I don’t have time anymore.
Boy: You can always make time for fun.
Simple things like hanging out with children remind me of how much I enjoy the different perspectives that people look at life. As a college student planning to go to graduate school and go on to do whatever happens, I get lost in my plans of trying to get to where I need to be instead of stopping to enjoy where I am now with the people I’m with.
So with one more year of college at UCLA, I’m gonna have fun and be happy. I mean, it’s college right? I’m not a FULL adult.. I’m not even 21. hah.

the struggle is REAL.
21 units & SPCN in two weeks is starting to feel reallllly… tiring right about now. With three more weeks of class and one week of finals, I’m starting to feel the pressure. Not to mention getting a new RA staff, being External Director for PREP, and trying to get a job for the summer.
i’ve also have become attached to oreo milkshakes even if i am lactose intolerant.

Everything you hear in this track was recorded using only my mouth, hands & feet.
I’ve always been a sucker for acapella and being able to really hear those subtle 7ths & little inversions. It’s been years since I’ve recorded a full-blown acapella track for you guys, and this song immediately came to mind as soon as I started brainstorming. The beginning is an original TTBB arrangement I made, since I don’t really like the way the original song starts off. Timbaland really goes to town with the beatboxing and the clicking & tongue work, so I tried my best to replicate that.
At the end of it all, ended up with a 15-part acapella arrangement of a great song. Hope you guys enjoy it!
